My Best Friend's Wedding!
My best friend Amanda is now Mrs. Amanda Darby Probus! I can't believe it! It seems so crazy that she's married! All those nights hanging out in the dorm, dreaming up plans for the wedding and pouting about missing our boys are long gone and the wedding was finally here! After 7 and a half years of dating this patient girl is finally with the man of her dreams for forever! I'm so happy for her! They are such an amazing couple, they are so good for each other not to mention they are very cute together! Congratulations Amanda and Daniel!

Just another Manic Monday!
What a day! I love my job, I really do. It's great! I work with 28 if the most adorable 3 year olds full of so much energy it's contagious! Today was a Monday after a disney movie just came out. I think I heard everything there is possible to know about "Cars" all morning long! For lunch today we had spagetti, I have officially declared spagetti to be the arch nemesis of all daycare teachers, I washed off 28 little faces and 56 little hands absolutely covered in spagetti. I think they wear more than they eat! :) It's a good think I love them all! After nap we danced to the Dora soundtrack (who knew there was a soundtrack!) and stamped with potatoes! What a fun day! ...and 8 hours later I'm exhausted! I hope your Monday was a good one! I miss ya'll lots!

Success
The measurement of success is so often distorted. This morning the pastor of the church we've started going to shared a message from Joshua describing success in God's eyes. I know this is elementary, and I also know that we all already know this, but today it finally hit me. The world's view of success is so diametrically opposed to God's. Jesus wasn't wealthy, he wasn't politically powerful, and his following was only large when he was giving away free food. However, contrary to the world's view, Jesus is the ultimate picture of success--pleasing God, seeking God's will, serving others.
So often I find myself guilty of seeking the world's view of success. I constantly dream up big schemes of what I plan to do and don't consider that maybe God has something else in store.
Recently I've been faced with some major decisions. My family is experiencing some pretty hard times, things for us will probably be a whole lot different then they have been, but I know God is good and he has a purpose for everything that happens. Maybe my big plans wont turn out they way the were "supposed to" and maybe my success wont measure up to the world's standard but I am so thankful for the reminder this morning that no one is a success that ignores the purpose for which he is made. I am so grateful that ultimate success is measured only in God's eyes. And honestly, I only want to be successful in pleasing God and doing his will, not mine.

TEXAS!
I'm finally back in Texas! I'm working at a really nice daycare/camp place. I'm actually working with kids alot younger than I had expected. I work with 28 3 year olds! It's craziness for 8 hours everyday! :) As crazy as they are, they're still adorable and we have fun. It's good to be with family again for the first time since Christmas. Liv is so big running around saying all kinds of random baby words, Charlie's having a blast with baseball! (The cubs are in the play-offs!) Hannah and I are having so much fun working together! It's going to be a good summer!
